"We had such a lovely time during our stay here. The property itself was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. There were games and stuff to do at the property as well.The area was nice, if you’re willing to travel a little further from it I would say there is plenty to do nearby as well! I recommend Henrhyd Falls, the beach isn’t too far either! Would stay again, thankyou for hosting us!"

"I arrived at afan Forest retreat. And was immediately overwhelmed with the house. Stunning decor,well thought out. The owner, Linda had thought of everything,!! From spare tooth brushes.to high chairs.baby bottles. Toiletries. Basic foodstuffs etc. the rooms were well thought out.the beds super comfy. They went above and beyond. The are was stunning. The neighbours and locals friendly.linda and fran has thought of guests itenery with places to visit. Like my favourite water falls. All in all I cannot recommend this place enough. It was like a home from home. Thank you linda for a wonderful stay.and thank you fran too. Can't wait to come back!!!! From a very happy Karen Tony and boys. Xx"

"The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still contested the fact that their check in is stated as different. Some of the staff were quite dismissive, and felt unwilling to help. Finally, the walls are so paper thin I could hear everything from the room next door - whoever was staying next door was playing loud horror movies until the early hours, so it was impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Would recommend if it really is budget you need, but I definitely wouldn't recommend otherwise."
