"My family (including 1 child and 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay here. Really nice, quiet, relaxing house with a large backyard. From the Norwegian style details, to overall cabin feel, board games, fireplace, you can tell that a lot of thought was placed into the design and decor. Also, location was nice as it was an easy drive to Mount Laguna, and we were able to visit Rancho Cuyamaca and Julian."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay! The views from the cabin were stunning and the cabin itself was so cozy and comfortable for our night there. Waking up to the sunrise in the morning was incredible and the views of the sunset, stars, and Milky Way at night were fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful and the cabin itself was beautiful and comfortable, with everything we needed.The drive up to the cabin is as described on the listing and we had no issues following the host instructions. I'd echo what some other reviews say and plan to arrive before dark for ease of navigating the road to the property. It is a bit of a steep/windy drive up. Dana was timely in sending any information for check-in/check-out and responsive to any messages/needs!I'm just sad we only stayed one night! Looking forward to returning for a longer stay."

"This is an awesome and unique space in the desert just below Julian, CA. Reni is both the host and the artist responsible for much of the beauty inside the space. Amazing dark skies are visible here and it’s wonderfully quiet most of the day. There isn’t AC but there is a pump based cooling system. The property stays relatively cool even in the heat but be prepared to sleep in a warmer room than you may be used to."

"My friends and I stayed here for a couple days and we loved everything about it. The host made it super easy for us by giving clear instructions and an easy to follow digital guidebook which was AMAZING. The place was clean and everything was so thoughtfully provided. Would definitely come back again!"
