"The room was very small but fine for two nights. Breakfast is nice, and the staff runs the small space very efficiently. Street parking wasn't a problem. Interesting historic property, and I got a tour after check-in, including the room where Admiral Nimitz stayed and info about descendants of Ulysses S. Grant in town."

Although the primary reason for our booking was business, the resort proved to be an ideal family comfort and enjoyment. "This place is truly wonderful and peaceful and secluded even though there are other homes close by. The amenities are great such as the hot tub and the cat walk leading to the sitting deck up in the trees. The owner is very welcoming and meticulously details anything you may have questions about. I found the steps up to the cabin really did not seem there were as many as noted because they are short steps. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is my favorite. The place is as advertised and I encountered no disappointments."

"Unfortunately, we only had a quick overnight stay. Did not use the spa or pool as we were too tired from a full day of traveling and needed to leave early. What we appreciated was the very quiet room, neighborhood and comfortable king bed. "
