Everything about this place is soothing and everything I needed to decompress. Only complaint I have is the pictures of the property make it seem it's on the lake front. It is near the lake and have to drive to a different area to access the water. Overall the view and scenery is breath taking

My husband and I travel a lot and stayed in many hotels around the world. I have to say this is one of the most interesting hotels we have stayed. One can easily see the influence of Buddhism from many art works and furniture in display throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel give you a sense of tranquility and peace. The stuff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our staying.

Peaceful, remote, serene mountain setting, way off of the beaten path. This is a quiet retreat center, not a place to party. Less than an hour East of the craziness of San Diego, it offers exceptional beauty and tranquility. Cell phone signal strength is very weak but wi-fi more than compensates. We have traveled far and wide, around the world, but this is a real " hidden gem".
