"So superb I had to return. Please check out my previous review from December 2024. It was so good I went back for more in November 2025, and will definitely return again! When you find excellence it can be a risk to try and repeat it, not so with the Shangri La Abu Dhabi. The workforce are so amazing it is hard to find words to compliment and congratulate high enough. They were ready and waiting for me, they remembered what special and personal touches made the difference for me. My biggest smile had to be when they surprised me with having a particular preference that they do not normally offer. They had remembered and had pre planned for my stay, that is excellence at its very best. Their Horizon Club Premier rooms are beyond superb, made so perfect by the most thoughtful and expert housekeeping team you could hope for. Abu Dhabi has been by go to chill out hero for more than 20 years and the Shangri La is the outstanding winner amongst all the other hotels I have stayed with. I applaud and send my thanks to every single member of the SL AD team, concierge, front desk, housekeeping, recreation , food and beverage, all 400+ of you. You are all special and important.
