The booking process was extremely difficult. It ran via 4 different websites (Expedia, Vrbo, 2 others), all with new rules and "apps which you certainly must download", etc. But all efforts were compensated by Helga, the owner and neighbour who received us with open arms. The house and its location are fantastic. NB: There is a SPAR in Alajero.

Tout était très bien par rapport à ce que nous recherchions. Très belle partie de l'île, paysages et randonnées magnifiques. Villages authentiques sans beaucoup de tourisme en octobre. Maison confortable et au calme. Voie sans issue. La communication avec notre hôte était très fluide. Merci à elle.

Erholsamer Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten

Es war so wie wir es uns gewünscht haben! Das Haus bietet für zwei viel Platz, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Mit dem Auto bieten sich viele Möglichkeiten, um die Insel zu erkunden, dafür ist die Lage ideal. Mordgens wandern, Nachmittags schwimmen, Abends gemütlich auf der Terrasse oder Abendessen gehen. Helga ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die auch gute Tipps geben kann.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit perfekter Sonnenterasse

Erholsame Ferien in ruhiger Lage. Wunderbare Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus aus sind möglich. Um die Insel zu erkunden ist ein Auto unverzichtbar. Der Flughafen ist mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten erreichbar, bis zum schönen Küstenort Playa Santiago sind es 20 Minuten. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Male hier!

Toll zum Ausspannen

Wir wurden liebevoll in Emofang genommen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns gut beraten. Das Haus liegt Ideal zum Wandern und abschalten. Die Terasse hat einen tollen Ausblick. Das Haus hatte ein ordentliches Preis PS Cerhältnis. Vor allem die Sauberkeit war Spitze.

Ruhe und Ausblick für Individualtouristen

Schön gelegenes Haus in ländlicher Umgebung. Große Terrasse, teilweise überdacht, mit Sonne von morgens bis abends. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Das große Badezimmer und die für unseren Geschmack sehr bequemen Betten haben uns gut gefallen. Helga war eine nette Vermieterin, die stets für das Wohl ihrer Gäste sorgt. Das Haus ist ein idealer Startpunkt zum erkunden der Insel. Wanderungen können direkt vor dem Haus auf gut gekennzeichneten Wegen begonnen werden. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Auch wärmere Kleidung sollte nicht vergessen werden, denn in über 700m Höhe kann es kühl werden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, vielen Dank.

Buen sitio para disfrutar

La ubicación y la casa son muy bonitos. Una pequeña pega: la ropa de cama porque era funda nórdica. Mejor si fueran sábanas y de algodón, sin fibras sintétícas. Un consejo para el visitante:: anda 50 metros desde la puerta de la casa hacia el norte y verás lo que te espera en toda la isla. ¡Fantástico!

Bueno, pero añadiría que las camas deberían ser de mejor calidad al igual que las sábanas y las cortinas más tupidas. Cuidado con dejar las puertas abiertas porque nos entró un gato varias veces. Sin embargo, el emplazamiento es idóneo Ya que es muy tranquilo y las noches espectaculares para disfrutar del cielo estrellado.

Nice House with great view

Nice house, but cold at this time of the year. Good there is a gasheater. Very clean and the bed is a comfy one. There is everything in the kitchen, even an oven, not a micro. The terrace is wonderfull and a lot of sun during the day. The nearby Santiago Playa is a relaxed, little town with a “lot” of shops and restaurants. Thank you Helga You need a car during your stay.

Sehr ruhige Lage mit schattiger Terrasse und Blick aufs unendlich blaue Meer - zum Lesen und Seele baumeln lassen! Guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen - zum Erleben des teils rauhen, teils lieblichen Formenreichtums! Nähe (per Auto) zu verschiedenen Badebuchten - zum Abkühlen und immer wieder neu verlieben! Supermarkt, Bäcker und Restaurant in 3 Min. per Auto im beschaulichen Dörfchen Alajero zu erreichen - zum einfachen Leben ohne Plan! Sehr nette Gastgeberin - zum Löcher in den Bauch fragen;-)

One of the best spots of the islands

The villa is nice and located in a beautiful place. The owner is attentive and reliable. We had a very nice stay there. The furniture of the house needs some minor fixing.

Helga the owner was very helpful and welcoming. Lovely bungalow,with well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, hot shower, all very clean, fantastic views from the balcony. A smattering of Spanish is a great help to communicate with the very friendly locals. We would have no hesitation in recommending La Hoya as a lovely quiet place to stay. A car is essential to get round to see the sites on the island. Get ready for plenty of bends on the road. We shall return to La Hoya and beautiful tranquil La Gomera.

Sehr ruhig gelegenes, gepflegtes und schön ausgestattetes Haus. Von hier aus erreicht man viele interessante Wanderwege. Obwohl es eine Busanbindung gibt, ist ein Auto schon bequemer. In den Wintermonaten sollten unbedingt warme Sachen für den frühen Morgen und für abends eingepackt werden. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ich habe meinen Urlaub dort sehr genossen.
