Bettered my expectations

Absolutely spot on! The staff were friendly, the pool was small but enough for what we wanted. Perfect location next to the strip and rooms were tidy and comfortable.

The property had messaged me a few days before checkin and asked about check in time. I responded that it would be quite late but did not receive any replies back. On the day of checkin, fortunately there was someone there who gave us the key. The property is very well located with plenty of restaurants and clubs nearby. Beach is 10 minutes walk. Big bathroom and kitchen. However the furnitures are from the 80s....if not 70s. Very very dusty and we felt as if the apartment was closed off for months. The decor was also very old. We were given 1x 20ml of shampoo for 2 people for 2 nights. Management kindly allowed late check-out at 12 though this is the norm in nearby apartments.

Great if you can handle noise

The apartment was nice, very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately it had poor soundproofing and the hoards of drunk tourists could be clearly heard all night. The bed had springs sticking into me no matter what position I was in. It's a shame as these ruined what was a nice place with lovely service.

good value for money but basic

The apartment itself is good value for money although the picture of the pool is very misleading. The pool is only about 4 metres long and 2 metres wide, which is not what the picture makes it look like, thankfully the beach is close but not good if you’re after a pool so as to not get sand everywhere. We used the kitchen and I’m guessing the standard of electricity instalments in Portugal are low as we used the job whilst one of us was in the shower and it tripped the electric out every time. Unlike back home where you could have a tv, microwave, oven, lights on and still be ok I don’t think Portugal’s electricity network is this advanced. The noise from the trip wasn’t too bad to be honest it was only if somebody went past the apartment revving their car engine high you got any real noise. Overall ok for a cheap holiday but probably wouldn’t stay again, would most likely search and pay a bit more for somewhere else.

Notre appartement est situé au rdc, nous devions laissé les vollets contament fermés pour éviter de croisé le regard des passants. La rue des bars et des pubs sont proches donc bruyant la nuit (le son de la musique est "raisonnable" mais les voix des passants alcoolisés un peu moins!) Piscine très petite. Reception correcte... une dame en journee est très avenante et parle un peu francais! Appartement bien situé, 15 min de la plage d'Oura. La plage et la ville d'albuifera est accessible par la plage d'Aveiros en 30 min (personne ne l'indique mm l office de tourisme). Appartement est de confort simple. Serviettes et draps ne sont pas changés de la semaine, mais les poubelles sont changés tous les jours..! Logement correct, sans plus!

Nice enough staff, terrible rooms

1 bedroom had 2 beds the other a sofa bed which wen flattened had a sinking line down the middle, their claim of 4 beds is 2 beds and 1 sofa bed where each half acts as a bed. No no no. 100 Euro deposit per person was required at checkin, Expedia didn't feel the need to tell us this. The pool is not a pool as you know it, but closer to a paddling pool for kids. The price is good, a cheap so can't expect to much out of it, but being straight up is 1 thing I like and they weren't.

Hôtel proche centre ville

Super expérience l'hôtel et bien situé proche du centre ville , pour la plage il faut marcher au moins 15 min , les chambres donnent sur la rue donc beaucoup de bruit difficile de dormir parfois hôtel quand même simpa et propre surtout . Le Portugal à faire absolument c'est magnifique !!!
