"Really friendly people "

"The views from the bar and restaurant were amazing. The only downside was the layout of the room,we were told it was deluxe suite but it was small,television was not facing us, it was on the side and the plughole in the sink was not very good and water did not go down very quickly. Overall the hotel was fab,especially staff were really nice especially in the restaurant. "

"A wonderful hotel - the junior suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the Minster. The shower was amazing. Even little details like the local products in the Tuck Box, the coffee bags were so good Im going to buy some now. Would 100% recommend."

"We took the train to/from York and the hotel is ideally situated. Close to the train station and to the core of York. Beautiful, clean, helpful staff. Great restaurant in the hotel, as well."

"Clean room. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Bed very comfortable and roomy. Tea and coffee facilities provided with biscuits. Radiator on for the bathroom which made it very nice after showering. "

"Could have done with a night drink sachet like hot chocolate and a biscuit complimentary in room. Staff excellent. Comfy room and quiet. Excellent breskfast choice."
