"The vibe was so calm and relaxing. The breakfasts had a huge variety of food, and were tasty. The beds were less firm than usual Portuguese standards, but quite firm by UK standards. The pool was a delightful respite from daily life and as it was quiet, we often had the whole space to ourselves. The staff were lovely. The local town was a bit quiet, and developing in tourism. "The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!"

"Just experiencing the beauty of the old structure, the inner chapel and corridors was memorable. Very quiet area so if you want peace, this is the place to be."

"Checking in was the most confusing process I've ever encountered. They still have last year's check in instructions up, which are no longer valid. It was a nightmare finding the front desk. The apartment was clean and okay. The kitchen is not equipped to make a proper meal. Washing machine doesn't work. Sadly we were very disappointed."

"This is a Hilton and Hiltons in so many parts if the world so often have the drawbacks of their American corporate parent … like charging to much for amenities. Really annoying. Also, the location isn’t great. I did think that the staff was very good … particularly liked the front desk person who spoke a number of languages and was currently studying d Chinese. So, as is often the case, people make up for some deficiencies in other areas. I should add that there did not seem to be better options in Évora location wise."

"This hotel was authentic as is was a former convent! The rooms were cute, the beds were comfortable and the view was nice. The pool was perfect as it’s a small hotel so it was quiet and the poolside service was exceptional! We dined at the restaurant for dinner at it was mouthwateringly delicious! All in all a great 2-night stay for the price."
