A little tired but OK

Rooms are a little tired and basic, I would class this as a budget hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive, location is good if you have transport.

Lovely stay

Really lovely hotel and such friendly staff. They went out their way to help us whenever we needed anything. Rooms were kept lovely and clean. The main bus going into town took a while to get the hang of as the stops weren't clear and a lot of the stops were missed but the train into the city is about a 25 minute walk.

A basic but very good basic hotel.

Compared to city centre prices some of which were ridiculous this was a very good value hotel. You should expect to have to pay taxi fares, if like us travelling without a car, of around 12 to 18 euros to get in and out of the city. But this hotel was around 300 euros cheaper than city centre ones we checked. The bar was excellent and the 3.95 euro breakfast was more than enough for breakfast and fine food with great coffee.

Very good restaurant if you don’t feel like going out . Beware though they allow dogs and I was unlucky to have one in a room near me who barked every time someone opened a door . The bathroom drainage does leave an unpleasant smell

You need to have a car. Alfafar is a different city and the taxi is very expensive. The transportation to Valencia is not comfortable either. You will get problems as well if you do not speak Spanish.

Expedia me engañó: Valoro el esfuerzo que el hotel está haciendo por mantenerse en funcionamiento después de los graves daños ocasionados por la DANA de hace un año. Incluso han habilitado una sección para poder recibir a clientes como yo, lo cual demuestra compromiso por parte de la administración. Sin embargo, la experiencia no corresponde con lo que se muestra en las fotos al momento de hacer la reserva. Allí se publicitan instalaciones modernas, de un IBIS nuevo y en perfectas condiciones, pero lo que uno encuentra es distinto: habitaciones viejas y en mal estado (al menos la que me tocó), con baños y sistemas de aire acondicionado apenas funcionando. Además, la recepción está ubicada en un contenedor y muchos de los servicios habituales no están disponibles, algo que no se advierte claramente al momento de reservar. Creo que sería mucho más justo informar con transparencia a los clientes sobre esta situación. Personalmente, yo hubiera estado dispuesto a apoyar quedándome en condiciones precarias, siempre y cuando hubiera estado preparado y bien informado desde el inicio. Reconozco el esfuerzo del personal, que hace lo mejor posible en un contexto complicado, mientras continúan los trabajos de reparación en el edificio principal.
