"The Washington Plaza Hotel made my stay very comfortable, even as I was traveling alone! It’s in a perfect location too, which is the main reason why I booked here, but I can say that the hospitality was up to par as well."

"The first night we had no air conditioning. My room was 85 degrees. They knew the AC was broken and they allowed people to stay in those rooms and pay top dollar for a miserable night sleep. I demanded to be moved and was so the stay the next night was good but it should not have happened that way. I am still working on getting the first night refunded from the hotel."

"Service was terrible, receptionist lied to me saying I could check in early on the phone but when arriving they say they did not say that. We were supposed to get one bedroom and a big sofa bed but when we checked in our room we did not get any of that we booked so it is a scam! Do not book this hotel!"

"This basement studio apartment is very clean and presented as pictured. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to locate. Host provided thoughtful touches such as bottled water and snacks, which is always nice to have after a day of travel. There were plenty of clean towels and linens, along with bath soap and shampoo in the shower.I would note that entering the apartment requires walking down a narrow set of twelve steps, something to consider if you have mobility concerns. Additionally, the unit is below an active family who live upstairs. However, the host promptly addressed the noise issue once I brought it to their attention. My final observation is that the mattress needs to be replaced. It tends to sag and you can feel the springs move around if you shift too much."

"The stay at Woody Westover was made complete by the communication from the host. She was very helpful in addressing a minor issue that came up during my stay, and was warm and welcoming. The property had everything I needed to feel comfortable during my stay in Washington DC and the location was excellent! I only had to take a short bus ride down to the National Mall, which served as a great bonus to the location. The property felt safe and I could come and go as I needed."
