"We had a lovely stay at Cenica in Porto! The hotel feels brand new, which makes sense as it’s a recent addition, and it really shows in the design and cleanliness. The TV embedded in that huge mirror was very clever! A really futuristic touch. Our favourite part was definitely the spa: spotless, beautifully maintained, and the pool was warm and incredibly relaxing. It felt like a perfect spot to unwind after exploring the city. The only small downside is that it’s just at the edge of what I’d consider the city centre, if it were one street closer, it would feel more central. That said, it’s right above Trindade station, so it's super well connected, especially for getting to and from the airport. All in all, a great stay!"

"This was a great choice for several days in Porto for a first trip — and I’d choose it again. Great room, terrific and bountiful breakfasts, genuinely friendly staff, and very convenient for getting around. Be aware: there’s construction around the city and near the hotel for a new subway line, but no noise in the hotel. It’s easy to walk down to the waterfront without being on top of it, a plus. "

"A wonderful and warm welcome and greeting by Leonor. Her English is excellent and made us feel very welcome. Later in the evening, there are a few - possibly homeless people around the street. They do not seem bad though and mind their own business. The Mercator do Balhão is just down the road. Amazing experience and great restaurants on then top level. The lower level has souvenirs and fresh seafood and wine-tasting stations. "

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the San Bento train station if you plan to use the trai to get to Porto and do side trips from here! Staff was very helpful with helping us plan our daily visits. The surprise me with a birthday cake and wine in the room! The breakfast was delicious, good selection of food! The room was quiet, contemporary with an interesting layout! It was easy to walk from here to the different tourist attractions! "
