The hotel location was great being near the beach, but also near the eatery streets and old town. Service was great on arrival, providing a hot drink and finding a room which was immediately available. This was greatly appreciated as we were tired from the journey. The whole team from reception, to bar staff were great and helped ensure an enjoyable stay. Room cleanliness was spot on and usual amenities changed daily by the cleaning staff - Gabrielle had prepared room for our stay (name was indicated on welcome card), and the initial high standard was maintained throughout. Had a near miss or two exiting bathroom area, as water from shower cubicle getting through gap in door, so floor - even though we were wiping it up - could get a little slippy underfoot… Hotel location was perfect for restaurants, bars, culture and provided easy walking access to pretty much everywhere. Beach towels, along with other ‘day at the beach paraphernalia’ were available from reception. Beach itself - about a 3 minute walk away - was busy but top notch. Hotel’s Roof Top bar was a prime spot and reasonably priced - also provided a comfy spot for us to watch the Champions League final on the Saturday evening;). Bar staff were a great bunch - pleasant and really interpersonal. Alicante a lovely, walkable city and if we should return for a further visit, will highly likely return to this hotel.

The customer service was exceptional. Upon being shown to my room (a deluxe city view), it was located directly opposite the lift, and as a light sleeper, I knew the noise would disturb me during the night. I returned to reception and the team immediately arranged a different room without any hesitation, which I really appreciated. The hotel is also perfectly located for sightseeing, with plenty of fantastic spots nearby for tapas and arroz. Bar Manero is an absolute must-try.
