"It does look a little older in photos, but it is well maintained and very clean and exceeded my expectations. Decent gym. Lot’s of options for breakfast. It’s a well known hotel so most tours and taxis know where it’s at. Walking distance to many things I wanted to see in Almaty. 24/7 convenience store a few steps away from the hotel."

"The building exudes a sense of history, yet the interior is well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and perfectly fine.
The city-view room offered a panoramic view of Almaty, which was excellent.
The bathroom was clean, the shower had hot water, and there were no issues whatsoever.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was delicious.
Since my stay was very short this time, I wish I could have enjoyed the hotel a little more.
If I ever go back, I would definitely stay here again."
