"If you're thinking about staying at this property, do it! The house was everything you see and more. It was clean, large, comfortable and welcoming. The house has everything you need to feel at home. The pool is very enjoyable and a great place to cool off and relax. Communication with the owner is excellent. He replies to messages quickly and is very helpful. The welcome basket was a nice gesture and very much appreciated. We hope to be able to visit the area again soon and stay here again. "

"It’s a very nice hotel it’s just old and the walls are thin . Could hear the man behind us snoring . The balcony side we stayed on nice bit came Monday morning new restaurant going up loud at 700 am . But overall nice time there ."

"Here’s a clear, polite review in English: Review: The room had an unpleasant smell, which seemed to come from the carpet. The carpeting appears old and likely retains odors. The hotel should consider replacing the carpets or switching to hardwood flooring, which would make the rooms feel cleaner and fresher."

"The Alfond is perfectly located in Winter Park. You can walk to everything. The staff was excellent and very friendly and professional. "

"The photos do NOT do this property justice. From the outside, when we first arrived - we were not sure what we had signed up for, as the house sits on a block that is a bit isolated and the front porch is enclosed by screens. The moment you step into the house, it is GORGEOUS, updated, and obviously well-cared for. Beautiful walking trails around nearby lakes are only a couple of blocks away, as are the grocery store, shopping area, and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, wifi is strong (I had several work zoom meetings with no issue), and the furnishing/colors/plants are truly wonderful. Host answered all questions quickly and thoroughly. Price was VERY low for what you get."

"A very nice hotel in a great area of Orlando. Rooms were spacious, modern-looking, well laid out and clean. Breakfast was above average compared to a typical hotel. Hot brewed complimentary coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Staff were friendly and very responsive to our needs. "

"Overall the place was very convenient to all our activities for the week. When we first pulled in, it didn’t look like the picture, most of the plants died in the freeze so the dead plants looked bad. It’s an older bungalow but the inside was clean and comfortable. A few maintenance issues such as master sink very slow to drain, the microwave broke while we were using it, toaster didn’t want to pop up right, front door warped so need to pull to make sure lock engages, and dryer is old so it took twice as long to dry clothes. The host was pretty accessible through text on VRBO site. I did get a small refund for sink issue. They were willing to send cleaner to fix it but we were in and out most of the time. The front porch light stayed at about 10 watt. Not enough to light up the porch. The area was quiet. "
