Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Nicely decorated and laid out room with comfy double beds. We struggled to sleep without earplugs due to road noise. There are multiple windows fronting straight onto the main road through Ambleside with old sash windows that are single glazed so the road noise is excessive. One of the beds backs onto the main building doorway that also services other rooms so again, can be noisy when other guests come and go at different times of the day and night. Bathroom was clean and tidy but the toilet had little space in front of it, I wouldn’t want to use it if I was a larger person it would be a struggle. Parking was easy with lots of nearby spaces free between 6pm - 10am. We have an EV and used the nearby public charge point in the car park.

Everything was excellent, we'd be happy to come back again.

Excellent location, with everything within easy walking distance. The private parking was very convenient and easy to access. The host was extremely helpful and very friendly. The beds were comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean.

Booked last minute and was confirmed within the hour.

Everything as described on arrival and place was so well set up for our arrival even though we had booked it an hour before arrival. Would definitely recommend.
