My stay at the Hotel was good. The breakfast was really good. The bedroom is ok (nice table for work), bed is comfortable but the pillows are to high. The hotel is not close to the centre (around 30min walk). The time of checkin-checkout is really strict, which I did not like.

Quaint yet classy hotel. The quiet surrounding is conducive for personal productivety, or quiet, whichever you need, that is what makes this hotel highly recommendable, in my opinion.

Enjoyed my stay.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel does have some years on it, but it does have its charm, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is topnotch, and the view is very nice. Overall a very good experience.

Solo travel for a short trip to Amersfoort. Hotel is a nice walk to the railway station, approximately 20 mins or so through a nice neighbourhood. Bed was comfortable however the pillows were quite small and too firm for my liking. No other pillows available in the room to swap or add. Noise travels too so you can hear occupants in adjacent rooms if they're being noisy. I didn't sample breakfast so can't comment on this but the staff I dealt with on check-in and leaving were most helpful, friendly and polite. Despite the issue with the pillows, I'd probably stay here again if visiting Amersfoort for a short period. Its location wasn't an issue as it was cheaper than other more central hotels.

The hotel locates in Amersfoort, which is a city away from Amsterdam 40 minutes by intercity train. It is not a very convenient hotel to choose if you are a frequent visitor to Amsterdam, but it is a good choice if you love quiet living areas. Also, it is easy to go to Haag, Rotterdam and the other surroundings from Amersfoort, you may have variable options at Amersfoort train station.

Here is what I liked; reception area very nice, front desk staff did a great job, breakfast was very good, loved being quite close to the old (fort) part of town, less than 10 minute drive. The reason for a good score and not an excellent score was due to rooms looking tired. As well, Door into our suite and most of the others were chipped and in need of paint. The same would be true inside the room, that there were areas in need of paint.

the hotel was OK for the price but one staff gave us wrong info about the towel dryer rack which didn't work. the sink did not drain well and the shower stall leaked water leaving the floor wet around it. Dinner was fine and the staff was great. At breakfast the buffet was often missing items that were not replaced

I was travelling with a toddler and everything went really well. The breakfast was great too! Only minus is that I informed beforehand that we need a separate bed for the 1 year old. I even reminded and called the same day yet in the evening we arrived it was missing. I received it around 11pm and it was broken and there were no blankets. I reported that it was broken and the sheets/ blanket was missing but they said they didn't have any. First night the child slept with towels and the next night I had to take her in the same bed with me and just put stuff on the other side so she wouldn't fall from the bed.

A wonderful stay

What a lovely hotel this is! Very helpful and friendly staff, about 25 minute walk to the centre of town. It has a large bar/ restaurant/ lounge area where we could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choice. We had dinner there one night which was delicious. We hired a bike, and there is plenty of space to store your own bikes.
