"Big spacious corner suite with a great view of the lake. Quiet area, I felt safe walking solo. The front desk was helpful and friendly. Short distance to a bakery, an Asian diner, a grocery store, and a pizza joint. The train station is nearby with multiple bus stations. It is Across the street from the Columbia Theater, Grant Park and the lake. I have to admit, I was more than a bit hesitant to visit Chicago, but I found the Downtown area very clean, well maintained, And secure. A beautiful City with a rich history. "

"This was a last minute stay due to not being able to make our flight home with my son, an infant. We were very tired and had none of our items. The hotel staff, most importantly the shuttle driver that night, Surjin, were absolutely the best. I can say that i’ve never had a shuttle driver so genuinely caring and kind. Want to be sure he receives the recognition he needs as he truly deserves it. Great stay here at Holiday Inn. Appreciate them very much!! "
