The hotel was fine and great for transport links but there wasn't anything special about it. Didn't benefit from the extras mentioned in the reviews - no drink on check in, no pizza for not getting room cleaned... I was asked if there was any special reason for visiting and despite it being our 29th wedding anniversary and my birthday, there was no mention of this.

Staff super friendly. Rooms seem bit outdated and the walls separating rooms are thing so can hear noises from adjacent rooms at night.

There was only 1 house keeping carried out during our stay. No clearing of rubbish bin and we had reported the safe is not working but no action followed up by the staff

We had a nice experience in this Hostel, the Staff were so nice and very accommodating they had a free pancakes and coffee. We had a chance to stay untill our Traspo arrived, though we checked out already. You can sit in the receiving area charge your phone, and play pingpong,they have a cat named Pepper😊

Lovely little place, bright vibrant colors and unique style. Distance to train station is a massive plus. Anyone going to Amsterdam on a budget should definitely have a look at the Teleport hotel as a option.

I loved the artwork and the hot cocoa and coffee were yummy when available. It was a short walk from Sloterdijk station and Watt Coffee across the street had good breakfast if a bit expensive. The room I reserved was not available when we checked in at around 4:30pm and we had to wait over an hour while they prepared a different room. They gave us a bottle of Prosecco as a gift, but it didn’t make up for jet lag exhaustion and having to sit for over an hour before being able to use the restroom and wash up and rest a bit before our evening canal cruise :(.

I made a mistake booking this "hotel", it is actually a hostel. We tried saving some money but ended up with a bad experience. The first impression arriving at the property after a long journey, was horrible. The receptionist was unbelievably rude. She refused, absolutely refused, cannot stress this enough, to help us change the room on the first day. People need to be careful when they book economy twin room, the bathroom is OUTSIDE THE ROOM and make sure to take a key every time you use the toilet otherwise you get locked outside, ridiculous. It is winter now, so very cold and their heating is rubbish. Minimal heating in the building we stayed in and no heating whatsoever in their other building, would you be staying here? I think not. Also it was raining in Amsterdam and to my surprise it was raining also in the hallway of the hotel, wet towels all over the floor. The walls are thin, there is no tv. The extractor fan in the bathroom was blowing, blowing!! cold air on top of my head when showering, it was freezing in the bathroom and the shower was blocked and eventually flooded the whole bathroom. There are no shops around and you have to walk to a train station to get to Amsterdam central. Don't try walking, takes forever!

The bathroom shower curtain hanging to low and the tile mildew were low points in our stay. The room was spacious and the kind staff made up for the inconvenience. If you want a basic room at a cost savings, this is it.

Hotel is combo hotel/hostel. Pros - affordable, relatively clean, beds were comfortable, surprisingly quiet at night. Cons - some staff members very unfriendly. No information available about local restaurants, events, how to navigate public transportation. Hotel is VERY far from city center. They do rent bikes which is nice - they are only OK quality. They advertise a FREE tour for 2 hours a day. It was NOT available, nor was it free - you would still need to rent the bikes for $16/day. I would not go back to this hotel.

My Checkin time was 3:00pm (15:00), I got there at 4:00pm (16:00) and i Checked in. When i got to the room the room was being cleaned, which means that they had already broke their contract with me. I wanted a refund which they didn’t want to give. There was also no manager available to speak to and was told that they wouldn’t contact him or her. So I then had to travel around for the next 5 hours trying to find a Hotel for my husband my three kids (2, 10 & 15) and my mother. What i would add for anyone who thinks this is a hotel, it is not it says it is but it is actually a hostel. There bathrooms are not in the rooms and is not suitable for kids.

TERRIBLE. Place was very dirty, sink doesn’t work and looks like no rush to fix it. Bugs in bathroom, exit light extremely bright and was facing it while I sleep. Bed was not comfy, dirty people in my room as well. Would not recommend.

The property location is good with all kinds of amenities. But our room flush was not working and when they changed the room they downgraded our room type. We were a couple and had to stay on seperate beds even though we had booked a single queen aize bed room. Not a satisfactory stay.
