"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and yes they offer free breakfast at a restaurant across the street. Take advantage of that but hopefully that restaurant will step it up. Their eggs aren't as hot as they should have been because by the time you get them to your table after visiting the buffet, they're cold. But the rest of it the grits, bacon & fruit. Delicious. We had a couple of favored people who really stepped up with service the waitress Jen and the hostess I think she said her name was Beth? Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 11am but they start breaking the buffet down at 10:30, just don't be any later than 10: 15am Also when it comes to parking go in person to PAY location on 9th just down from the board walk, and get a pass. Being over 60 to park in the parking deck was just too much walking. We paid $50 for 5 days totally worth it. It also gave us free parking at the city meters. We wanted to stay 2 additional days but I couldn't reach Hotels.com I left a message but no one called back. So if you book through Hotels.com be sure to definitely know how long you desire to stay. It's not something you can change. At Carolinian beach resort their whole grounds were well kept and we really enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping was great too! Debra was very welcoming at check in. "Paid for a Deluxe Double, with Roll-in Shower which it has. Both mattresses are so low to the floor that we cannot stand up from lying down on them. Will mention this to Front desk tomorrow. We came a day earlier than expected so we did not wish to complain. This is ridiculous, though. Also, the bedding is really old and worn, and thin also. No thick comforters at this Courtyard by Marriott nor even complimentary coffee!"

"Excellent location!! Access to multiple pools, hot tubs and lazy river. Clean beach. Only minutes away from broad walk and other attractions. Will use this hotel again for sure!"
