Could offer more in room snacks w local items like wine and cheese and refs for local restaurants. The complimentary coffee and tea is not great at all. You have to wait until 7 or 8 am to get real coffee in lobby or venture out, which is what I did. They did make me an omelet one night on the fly w French fries which was good. Feel like room was nice but international outlets are in weird places to access. It’s on point for cost and I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Second time here. We enjoy this property very much. Modern and clean. Close to downtown, waterfront and Monte Brazil. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Even a small gym! We can walk to everything we need.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches: the welcome pastry, the awesome free breakfast, they even packed us a lunch for our departing flight! And parking was great

The rooms were outstanding, modern and large. The balconies and windows were out of this world. We had a great view of the fort and the ocean. I'd go back to the Shipyard in a heartbeat. The personnel were outstanding, especially Laura!

Very modern, everything is electronic. Clean, simple, and pleasant design. The rooms have a facade of fake mirrors that are not very useful/functional. Despite the first photo on Expedia being of a pool, we were told there is no pool. Convenient location, very walkable, and has the only Michelin star restaurant on the island.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff was also courteous and accommodating. The location is great because it is walking distance to where the majority of shops and restaurants are but still quiet at night. Parking our rental car was easy with a garage below the hotel. Lastly, our room was a good size and included a kitchenette and breakfast at the hotel each morning was amazing.

We stayed here for a entire week, and very glad we did. The Shipyard is perfectly located close to the marina and all the main attractions in Angra (close walking distance to all the great restaurants and shop). Parking was very easy, the property was immaculately clean, the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I hope to come back soon!

Highly recommend
The hotel staff are very friendly and speak English. They cheerfully assisted us with any questions or arrangement requests. The hotel rooms are spacious, thoughtfully layed out and nicely decorated. The on site restaurant is delicious, also with friendly servers, feels more like a nice independent restuarant than a 'hotel restaurant'. The location, while only a few minutes, is a hilly walk into the center of Angra and not good for anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommend!

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 11am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well.

Really stylish decor, clean and comfortable hotel with very spacious suites. Stayed on the 2nd floor in a 1 bedroom apartment and loved it. Super convenient to have a full suite including a living and dining area. There are food trucks just down the street so easy to bring food back to the suite. Loved this hotel and the staff were great. Breakfast and parking included which is a bonus. The downside to this property is the view from the large balcony isn't great, and unfortunately when someone in another suite is cooking, all their food smells vent through the cooktop vent in our suite! It wasn't pleasant so not sure how the venting was constructed! These items wouldn't change my 5 star review. This hotel is wonderful and would stay here again for sure.

Fabulous hotel in fascinating Angra
The Shipyard in Angra was outstanding. The large, comfortable rooms are apartment style and well equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable bed and bedroom has blackout curtains to assure a good nights sleep. Great bathroom with double sinks, large towels, and a strong shower. Lovely kitchen even though we didn’t do any cooking and nice comfortable living room. Nice deck overlooking the edge of town and the castle, with a glimpse of the Atlantic. The hotel has a great rooftop area w lounge chairs, and other amenities. Can not say enough about the professionalism of the staff. They are extremely accommodating and kind. The restaurant is great and both the food and service is excellent. The hotel has free parking in an underground garage. Location is on the edge of town so it was quiet and made access in and out of town very easy. It’s a short walk to the center and the marina. Angra is a beautiful, fascinating city and best exored by foot. Hiking poles recommended if you’re not used to steep hills. The Shipyard in Angra was perfect in every way.

This is a very comfortable modern hotel with helpful staff. It is conveniently located near the harbour and a short walk from the old town. Nice breakfast and restaurant too. The kitchenette in the room is handy.

The room was spacious and beautiful with a great balcony, comfortable bed, amazing shower and really neat functions such as a sky roof above the bed as well as the washroom. The staff was the best. They were so helpful and answered questions on what’s app right away. Even helped me book restaurants for dinner. They made my stay memorable!

The Shipyard was really good. Good location, great room (we had a two bedroom suite for our family of four), nice view, good breakfast. Staff was very helpful. No real bar area (it has a bar but not enticing) and no pool but I should not nit pick. I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel was amazing! The only thing that i would complain about is that the air conditioning didnt keep the room cool. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again when we return back to the island

This property is luxurious and modern with many amenities except a pool, if you have children. Front staff is helpful, I highly recommend you request a tutorial of your room, we learned things the hard way. If you are looking for a quiet establishment after a long night of enjoying the festa, then this place is not for you. Very loud traffic: trucks, loud motorcycles and diesel engines. Other than that, it's beautiful and modern.

Best hotel experience I have had. The staff is very nice and helpful, and rooms are amazing. The rooms come with good views and all the amenities of a luxury apartment (and more). For the quality of a stay that my time there was, it was priced incredibly reasonably.

Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et efficace. Le personnel est très aidant et à l'écoute. L'hôtel est très propre avec des chambres très spacieuses et modernes.
