"It’s an older motel but has been well maintained and kept clean."

"We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at this property. Nice to be a little further away from the hustle and bustle of town, in a quiet neighborhood. At the same time, an easy drive to restaurants and shops. The house is perfect for a large group with an excellent game room. Cooking was easy and there were plenty of supplies with lots of seating. The interior is very pretty and true to the photos. Plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfortable with soft, clean sheets. Bathrooms had plenty of fluffy towels! We didn’t use the outside seating as it was early spring except the grilling area, which worked well. "

"We have stayed in many wonderful house rentals but this was probably my favorite. It was very spacious and just lovely. The house was right on the river with amazing mountain views. We are a family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids ages 14-3) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids especially liked the big room downstairs with two sets of bunk beds and a huge sectional couch. At night we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit and made s’mores.The open concept kitchen/living room/dining room was huge and gave us plenty of room for game nights.During the day we visited Smoke Hole Caverns and hiked Seneca Rocks and Blackwater Falls. West Virginia is incredibly beautiful and this part of our vacation exceeded my expectations. This beautiful home is part of the reason why. "

"The property was great and well kept! We only had a few minor issues. There were 2 broken chairs in the dining room. We planned to use the grill but there was no propane tank and it wasn’t listed online that we were required to bring our own. Also, the tv downstairs was not working. "

"This cabin was a great spot for our family getaway. The game room, hot tub, and fire stove kept everyone entertained, especially the kids. While a couple of the game room items weren’t in working order, there was still plenty to enjoy and it didn’t dampen our experience. It was also a beautiful drive to WISP resort, where we spent some time on the slopes.Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this cabin to families looking for a fun, relaxing stay."
