I spent blissful hours at the pool marveling at the hills and olive groves in my view and saving grasshoppers and cicadas and even a frog that had fallen into the pool. We were there just as a heat wave descended on the valley. While the middle of the days were very hot, humidity is low and the mornings and evenings were pleasantly cool. Rooms all had fans to help circulate the air. The villa is located in a lush valley with a working vineyard down the hill and very friendly neighbors.
