"Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen."

"The home’s beds were all comfortable and we were satisfied with the temperature inside the home throughout our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances as well as spices, utensils and items to cook a complete meal. We were concerned with the types of stairs and lack of handrails. The lighting was very low wattage so it was difficult to see in some areas. If any guests had an allergy to cats that would have been a major problem. Please list this on the VRBO site in the future. The checkin/out information was not in English and was extremely extensive. The host failed to send the key code 24 hours ahead and we only received the information after requesting it as we sat in the driveway on the day we were supposed to check in. Overall our stay was fine and we were able to wash our clothes since this stop was halfway through our trip."

"Our hostess was absolutely hands down the sweetest woman! We loved chatting with her. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was the best part of our European vacation."
