Aqualava Water Park

The hotel was ok however the rook condition was extremely poor. The room was dirty overall, the fixtures and fittings were hanging off like the lights and door handles (one door handle came off completely). There was also a pretty severe mould problem in the bathroom. I've never seen anything like it before in a hotel. The bathroom ceiling was completely black as there was no window or ventilation. This is not only bad to look at but extremely dangerous for young kids, elderly people or people with respiratory issues. I would recommend that you stay somewhere else due to this.

I stayed at this hotel on a half-board basis and overall felt it was good value for money. The food was buffet style. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and at dinner there was always enough variety to find something to eat. The only downside was that some of the hot dishes could occasionally be a little lukewarm. The complex itself is quite large, with several smaller pools as well as a bigger main pool. It’s also possible to walk from the hotel down to the beachfront, which is convenient if you want to eat out or explore the area. The rooms include a small kitchen area with a fridge, which was really useful for keeping drinks and snacks. My room had a balcony, although it didn’t get much direct sunlight as it was north facing, so it wasn’t ideal for drying swimwear. There is also a self-service laundry on site with two washers and two dryers, which was simple and convenient to use. The staff were hardworking, always present around the complex, and helpful whenever needed. There is also bicycle hire within the complex offering a great range of bikes. The staff there were very helpful, offering advice on various cycling routes around the area. They were professional, friendly, and seemed to be experienced cyclists themselves, which made it easy to get good local recommendations. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and felt the hotel offered good value for the price

Near to most things the island has to offer. Food was varied each night. Pools kept in good condition. Rooms were neat and cleaned each day. Staff were excellent and multilingual. Would stay here again, the value for money is excellent.
