"The hotel is a bit ways from the city of Florence, 20+ miles but close to the highway. Relatives to the hotel prices in Florence this was much less expensive since we had a rental car. Very clean place, nice size rooms and pretty good choices for breakfast included. The staff was very cordial and helpful and they do speak English good enough to convey the message. "

"Die Lage und die Weinfarm sind sehr schön gelegen und bilden ein wunderschönes Ensemble. Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung. Bäder könnten sauberer sein. Handtuchwechsel war auch nach drei Tagen nicht. "We had the most wonderful time at Casale La Gora. Francesca was super sweet and helpful! We spent 5 nights there and enjoyed every second of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, I missed a bench or couch at night when we were relaxing and extra pillows would have been handy, however the house has two guest lounge rooms with comfy sits. Guiliani was an absolute gem and she took wonderful care of us. In addition to the excellent wines of Poggio Bonelli, there are a couple excellent restaurants in Castelnuovo Berardenga with Bengodi Enoteca Ristorante being absolutely superb."
