Dream first Italy stop!

We enjoyed 4 wonderful days and loved every minute. The staff was kind, friendly, helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. Initially we had only booked 3 nights but loved it so much that decided to add one more night. The location also allowed us to visit other parts of the region like Pisa, Florence, and Siena. Having breakfast included and on site parking was the icing on this stay!!

Just what I needed. So relaxing and peaceful, staff were very friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, I could have stayed there all day sipping on cappuccinos!

Just a gorgeous restored historic property. The grounds are beautiful and amazing. While the rooms lack the latest/modern amenities (including AC), they make up for it with loads of character and charm and were perfect for our adult family of 4. Our stay was definitely an unexpected highlight of our 8 day Italy vacation

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property shows it's age but has lots of charm. After all it is a very historic building. Make sure you take the tour on weekends. The Chapel is must see. Absolutely unexpectedly beautiful. Paintings as good as in any Cathedral and there you are by yourself in this exquisite chapel. The property is just a few minutes outside of Sienna in a very quiet location amongst olive trees. The food in the dining room is excellent. Beyond expectations. Excellent wines of the region available. Unfortunately the bar which has a different menu was always closed while we were there. Not many other dining options near by. About 10 to 15 min. drive. The breakfast has many options and is exactly the same every day. The quality could be a little better. Overall very pleasant stay and we would do it again.

It was absolutely amazing our stay here! I wish we could stay longer! Clean, peaceful, great food, wine, olive oil! Great location 20 minutes drive from Siena, beautiful garden, great staff! Beautiful landscape! I wish it had a spa or a hot pool.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay in Tuscany. The rooms are spacious, and ours overlooked the gardens. The furniture in our room was all antique, so the chairs weren’t very comfortable, but out on the balconies there are much comfier places to sit during the day. The gardens are great to explore and the balconies are perfect to spend a morning reading. The restaurant is delicious, we ate there three out of four nights on our honeymoon. Staff were friendly and helpful in booking us an excursion. We rented an electric car and they had two electric charging stations about a 2 minute walk down the road with a lot of free parking. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to a central base for day trips out to the cities in Tuscany, or for anyone who wants a magical stay in the country.

Wonderful experience

This was an awesome experience. To be able to stay in a former monastery that was hundreds of years old was a wonderful addition to our overall trip. While the beds aren't as comfortable as I am use to, the experience was worth the minor discomfort of the beds. The grounds are amazing, the chapel was so exquisite and the staff was wonderful.

Great service, comfortable room, the breakfast buffet is really good, and the onsite restaurant is superb! The location is a bit isolated but after all it used to be a monastery, the building is beautiful! I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Chianti area!!!!!!!
