Nice Lil cabin but needs some updating

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Upon arrival we had trouble gaining access to the property. The check in instructions did not indicate that there are 2 different key boxes so we were entering our code at the wrong keybox. Had to contact the property owners to figure it out. The cabin was really hot inside. They do have a AC but the central airing system does not get cold. They have fans in each room. All the children slept downstairs because the loft is too hot. It's probably nice in the winter but not during our summer stay. The beds are comfortable and the wifi works well. We were extremely disappointed and annoyed when we arrived at the Fly Lake and couldn't get access because the owners did not update their guest pass to 2025 sticker. We were told that this lake and pool were amenities to the guests which was the only reason we chose this location. Had we known that we actually would not have access to these areas that are shown on the pictures we would have stayed elsewhere. Kids were very disappointed. We ended up going to the big trees and the cave instead. And lastly, the oven needed cleaning because there was something stuck at the bottom that kept causing it to smoke, my husband had to scrape it off and remove it. Overall, it was an okay stay. The heat and the lake were the most annoying aspects.
