8/10 Very good! (1,001 reviews)
Hotel was extremely busy on arrival but service was friendly and welcoming. Was hit by unexpected parking charges which added £20 to our bill, but with no children’s price offered for breakfast, we had to spend £50 on breakfast that was really below par due to so many items being unavailable. £12.50 for a child’s breakfast is £££ in my opinion. It made the hotel much less value for money and we would look at alternative hotels in the future.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,004 reviews)
"Visit started badly as reservation computer had failed during new system implementation, and reception had no back up available. No offer of compensation - or even tea or coffee - we were just told to wait. Hotel is one of the last of a family chain being sold off after the death of the owner. It ..."
