"Lovely looking hotel, great atmosphere and very accessible to walk around for shopping and food etc They have a fridge in the room but its full to the rim with alcohol and also so is the cabinet side. Would of been great to have space to store my own drink e.g. Water etc Also had to keep nagging the front desk to get our soaps filled since they were empty on arrival and only two towels for 4 people in the room."

"The lobby is beautiful, and the room was tastefully updated. Unfortunately, our room was on the fourth floor right next to noisy air conditioning exhausts, and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Some front desk people were really nice while others were not so welcoming. We didn’t get any explanation about WiFi, checkout time, etc. during the check-in. In the room, there are so much things for purchase - a fridge full of alcohols, 6 water bottles on tables, and hotel merchandise in and on the cabinet. We didn’t love that these things took lots of space in the room. When we were having drinks in the lobby, a suspicious person started talking to us. She was soon removed by the security, and the hotel staff explained that she stole a hotel key card to drink for free. The staff apologize for that and was very kind. But if you are staying in this area, know that the Hollywood Blvd is really sketchy. We were glad to have stayed in this iconic hotel, but we would probably stay outside of this area and take a ride to this area to enjoy theaters and stores on our next trip to Hollywood."

"The property is well located and of high quality. But the rooms get a lot of use and abuse so the condition of the furniture shows a lot of wear and tear. Some of the chairs, for example, needs to be replaced. Staff was very helpful and courteous "

"I had an amazing stay here. Gina, Joy and Essenia were amazing, very caring and helpful. The room had everything I needed and in terms of comfort it exceeded my expectations. It is walking distance of stores, supermarket and restaurants. The grocery/products store at the reception was very helpful. I only gave 4 starts on amenities because it would be amazing to have a washer and dryer at the property for the days I've stayed there. I will be back next time and recommend it."

"Great location, safe and walkable. Clean and attractive property. Our bathroom had a broken light and the fixtures were a bit old. We chose it because of availability of free parking, but unfortunately the spots were all full. The surrounding area has signs posted that permits are required but we street parked anyway and were not ticketed. Staff were friendly and responsive."

"I’ve stayed in Hollywood many times and this was the most frustrating. First the parking situation is a mess. Had me circling the block for an hour cause of traffic. No explanation at all of where to park. Then security talked to me like I was an idiot when I got there. The room has a window facing the hallway so people walking by could potentially look inside your room. It’s so odd. All night I heard doors slamming shut and at 9am housekeeping was banging on the wall next to us and woke us up. There was no where to plug in the coffee machine and when I asked they said maintenance would need to come do it? (They did offer comped coffee for that). The floor was dirty and there was dust everywhere. I had to reach way behind a dresser to turn off a light and there was dust bunnies. Two of us were staying in the room and we were only given one robe, two towels. No towels for the pool. Elevator was broken or not working the entire stay and we had to carry luggage down the stairs. Property looks nice for social media pics and the pool area is really pretty but that’s it. Not worth the price I paid and I am actually going to ask for partial refund. Won’t stay here ever again. "
