We had an overnight stay on New Years Eve as we were visiting family. Our room was tiny. Mediocre at best. The entrance at the back which we used was basic and unappealing with dirty carpet on the stairs. When we checked in we were told there would be a continental breakfast left outside our room. There wasnt. Disappointing on the whole.

Rooms 4 & 5 are subject to constant mechanical or pump noise. Despite what staff say, it does NOT stop.

Good location for our visit to Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Wood. The room was small but fine for one night. We had booked for dinner expecting to have the Carvery but hadn’t been told it finished at 6pm, shame as it smelt delicious!

food very good Pub atmosphere very good for family but noisy carpets on stairs threadbare and dirty room carpet very badly stained towels only small hand ones and one dirty and unusable Room dirty and very dated no service during 2 day stay no aircon or heater controlls Brekfast was very odd! went elsewhere for one. glad to leave

The management team are excellent and this showed in the care and service towards us. The staff are happy and attentive with all the customers. Fantastic B&B, Will be returning
Fantastic B&B, staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean with wonderful bathrooms including double shower. There are some room for improvements such as cleaning the vent above the shower, descaling the kettle in the room and improve the beds as the right hand side one (Room 4) was not as comfortable. Highly reccomend and will be staying again for sure

The Beeches a great choice!
Clean comfortable brilliantly located Id definately use it again if need to stay in or near Ashby. Friendly helpful staff. Sadly food had finished as I finished work very late but they would have arranged something with the Chef had I have wanted. Cute breakfast basket too & great for an early work start.

No information was given to us regarding check out and there wasn’t anyone in the building at what we thought was check out time. There also wasn’t any breakfast available as the pub/restaurant was also closed. I just had to leave the key in the door of the hotel room and hope for the best.

Very good value for money, although it was advertised as B and B there was no breakfast available. There was,however, a very nice cafe next door. Perhaps a fan for those really hot nights Would be a nice idea.

Nice place. Comfy room. Only downside was we went down for breakfast and the place was closed. Would advise you take your own in these current times. As it was a Sunday morning there was nowhere open to eat anything.

No complaints about the cleanliness or condition of the room, however there were no showering products available which meant I ended up having a shower using hand soap. Not ideal.

Really friendly staff & within easy walking distance of the town itself. No shower gel or toiletries provided in the room so bring your own unless you want to shower with handwash. Quality breakfast only downside was the 5am glass bottle collection outside the accommodation.

The room was clean, but very small, we had asked for a double bed but was twin. Opposite our room was a room piled high with dirty laundry a health and fire risk. Breakfast was good, pity there was always a person vacuuming while we were earing
