The well-managed garden is spacious with seating areas and a swing chair for the summer months.
The nearby village of Appledore offers a local pub and convenience shops, while a short drive away is Ashford, from here you can take a high speed train to London, or head to the coast towards Rye after Camber Sands, Dymchurch or Hythe. The vineyard and winery of Gusbournes is just a short walk from the cottage, and makes a fantastic day out. Tenterden is also nearby and offers a range of restaurant, pubs, shops and the Chapel Down Vineyard. Take a trip on the Kent and Sussex steam railway, or should the weather turn inclement there is also an indoor leisure pool and gym in Tentereden.
