We had a wonderful time staying in the Old Cataract Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, excellent amenities with very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend staying there if you have a chance.

Very unique experience! Small hotel built in traditional Nubian style with "open air" living room, colourful walls. Great restaurant with the view over the river Nile, tasty breakfast and dinner. 2 minutes walk from the local market, where you can rent a small boat to visit one of the islands.

Very friendly and accommodating staff as we have special dietary requirements which were catered for enthusiastically without any complaints. Friendly, warm and welcoming with beautiful facilities, exquisite scenery and entertainment night with local musicians created a memorable experience. Amazing stay. The staff and management are brilliant. They are always there to help us. We arrived late in Aswan city so they give us free private transfer from Aswan city to Aswan Aqua park. The staff is very friendly and geneuinely there to make ur stay brilliant. They booked us private tranfer to Phelis Temple and cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Awesome and thankyou to both staff and management of Citymax Aqua park and Citymax Aswan City for making this holiday more special.

Excellent place to stay. Hotel is on a hillside with great view of the Nile River below and flood plains. The staff are highly professional. Check in and check out very smooth, no issues. Great breakfast with many options. Will stay again.
