"We stayed with Ahmed and he was so helpful in helping us at the last minute to find a driver to take us to Luxor. It was high season and last minute and yet he was able to accomplish that and help us throughout the trip even though the driver had some car trouble. He went above and beyond a service level that was among the best that I've seen in my previous 100+ countries that I've traveled to."

"Beautiful setting with a lovely view of the Nile and surround areas south of the Aswan Low Dam (including the Pihlae Temple) from the terrace. The staff's hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and quality breakfast make it a wonderful place to rest and explore the area."

"Eco Nubia is a magical place. The staff is super friendly and always making sure you have everything you need. Muhammed is the sweetest Nubian I’ve met. He made sure I had transportation from and to the airport (even if it was at 2am). The hotel also arranged the tours to Luxor and Abu Simbel. The food is amazing, and when my tour was earlier in the morning, they were sure to prepare a to go breakfast. The rooms were always clean, with an amazing friendly staff. No AC but it did not bother me at all. They also placed a bug spray in the room for me to use, so no bugs bothered me either. This was my first but for sure not the last time I visited the hotel. The views were gorgeous. Thank you so much for being kind, respectful and always providing the best experience possible."

"We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother us at all and added a touch of adventure to the experience. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay."

"The shuttle is really convenient because it is far away from the airport. It is a tiny place, nothing fancy or luxurious. The people are super kind and helpful. The restaurant near the Nile is beautiful, and the food is so tasty. If you like to disconnect from everything with no pretension, this is the place. It needs a bit of maintenance, but it is a comfortable place."
