I thought it was a bit strange that: a) the front desk closed at 6 every day which required me to unlock the door each time I returned after that time and b) there was no soap or body wash provided."

Also, the AC, was outstanding which is so important when it is hot. However, do not expect any amenities, at all. There is no coffee/tea hotpot, and the rooms are very basic, the shower is fine just a little older per design.
