1) I was charged $100 for a damage deposit and told that I would receive the money back in three days. As a long-standing Hilton Honors member, why hold my money for three days?
2) I tried to log into WiFi. It took three times to connect to the HHonors browser window. I kept getting "Problem connecting" messages. I finally was able to enter my name and room number. Then, to get access to the wifi, I had to fill out a Hilton Honors membership request. I am ALREADY a Hilton Honors member - so, why do I need to spend time filling out the form? Then, I received a message that the information I submitted was accepted. However, I did get to the confirmation screen to access the WiFi after I submitted the Honors information - but was told that it couldn't be submitted. I tried two more times and it didn't work.
So, I went to the front desk and worked with 2 different people and received the "couldn't connect." I was told to restart my computer, which I did, and it still received the message "couldn't connect." They called the maintenance person and he couldn't get it to connect either. All this took about a half hour. I am using my phone as a hot spot. This was a HORRIBLE experience.
