Excellent location at the top of O'Connell Street, so only a 5-minute walk to the shops and Liffey. It is right on the bus route from the airport so no need for taxis.
The room was comfortable, linen very good and the bed comfortable.
The bathroom was small with only a shower and this suited me fine. The bathroom fixtures could use some maintenance as the toilet seat was out of position, though not loose and still functional; the shower leaked water above the spray head, but again functional with good temperature adjustment... plenty of hot water and the towels very good quality.
I did not book the breakfast as I was only there for two nights and had to be away too early on the second morning. So I cannot comment on the quality of the food. Though passing the dining room it looked good and I could have obtained an breakfast voucher from reception. Thinking back, I should have done so.
Check-in and check-out were very quick and simple.
All staff I spoke with were very friendly, helpful and co-operative.
All in all, this was a reasonable priced hotel, ideally situated and perfect for my quick trip to Dublin.
