This is an amazing place to stay. The room was really clean and cosy. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in 26 years on the road and staying in hotels across the country. I will definitely be choosing this place next time.
The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. The decor was modern. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet. The amenities were good and included a Keurig coffee machine, bottles of water, shampoo, conditioner, slippers and large fluffy towels.
We missed our connection flight, but called ahead and they were amazing in allowing a LATE check-in. Bed was extremely comfortable and slept like a champ. Bar/restaurant is beautifully decorated. Was so good retuning next weekend before we fly out.
Love staying at Gleesons. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Room is pristine and comfortable. Great choice for breakfast and we will return again soon.
This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant and a nice convenience store on the property. The only drawback is the location which is a good bit away from Dublin City Center and the airport and taxis are expensive. There is a Dart station nearby but I did not use it so I cannot comment on how close or convenient it was to use.
Great little hotel within walking distance to UCD (just over one mile) Excellent restaurant as well! Close to Dart station and bus lines. Exceptional staff and service, room was very clean. I will definitely be staying here again.
The hotel staff were great upon check-in/check-out. Room was spacious and clean but sat right over the top of the bar, so was a bit noisy until about 11:30 (on a Tuesday night). Also, apparently parents are allowed to leave their children unattended and running about the hallways at 10:30 p.m. at night. The evening dinner wait staff were excellent and so was the food! The wait staff for breakfast were lacking. We had to ask for bowls for the buffet, more coffee and they just seemed vacant and distracted.
We booked two nights at Gleeson's Townhouse without doing much research as it was the most convenient hotel for the hospital our daughter was having surgery at. I was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the hotel was very clean and well decorated. The check-in service was very professional and the rooms were well appointed. All staff interactions were great; both professional and friendly. Having onsite parking was a real bonus, although the parking is fairly limited so I'm not sure what it would be like over a weekend with potentially more punters coming for the bar and restaurant. There was marginal noise from the pub area - nothing raucous, just your usual hubbub and muffled chatter and all noise ceased before 11pm.
If I was staying in the area again, I would definitely rebook

The Gleesons Townhouse is a wonderful place to stay. We spent two nights here with our daughter, grandchildren and son. The staff was fantastic, friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The bottom floor is a very nice restaurant and bar with great food. We were a bit worried about noise but, all 16 of the guest rooms are on the second floor. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and air conditioned. The elevator was great for transporting our luggage up to our rooms. Having complementary full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in the bathroom was also a great bonus. We had a family type room with one king bed and one twin bed, for three adults. Our daughter had the same set up for her room. The only minor issue we had was that the twin bed in our room was a bit too small for our son, but he made do. The hotel parking lot is very small and it was crowded with guests at the adjoining restaurant the night we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to reserve 2 spots for us with orange cones, to ensure we had onsite parking for free. They were great with the children, who got to have ice cream, and they even brought out more mini pastries and doughnuts for their breakfast the next day. When we checked out, the staff even secured our luggage behind the counter so we could explore the town a little more before heading on our way. The hotel is a short walk to the DART station so we took it to Dublin each day and left our car behind. We highly recommend this hotel
