There’s a club next door or down stairs or both? But the noise wasn’t too bad and didn’t go on all night. The room was the most bizarre hotel room I’ve ever had. But I loved it!

The location was perfect for walking to stores, restaurants, tram and public parks. There is a club in the basement and garden, so it is loud at night with the beat of music. We knew this ahead of time because of reviews, but we tried ear plugs. They didn't work. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which are very small. Just know what you're getting into with the noise at night. We didn't experience the restaurant. Dublin is a very friendly city and we felt completely safe walking, even in the evening.

Good value for money

This hotel is very cleam, the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel does not serve breakfast, however there are plsces nearby to eat breakfast. We stayed on a Friday evening there is a nightclub below, that goes onto 2.00 am.

Honestly I just wouldn’t stay here. They have a club INSIDE the hotel. How does one get sleep with the club going on? You don’t In my opinion you can have one or the other but certainly not both. And also the rooms are stuffy. There’s a reason it’s cheaper. Avoid

Great for adults- super nice staff!

People here were so nice and helped with directions. I came here for the Notre Dame vs Navy game with my brother. It does get loud at night, but the windows are super thick so it’s not too bad. There is also a lite breakfast served of croissants, scones, and tea. This is a great option for the budget traveler with no kids!

Very pleasant stay.

Lovely clean hotel, welcoming. Our room was clean. The room was a bit too hot but didnt think to attempt to open the window like a normal person would! Not ideal for families due to nightclub noise but it didnt bother us. Lovely High ceilings and traditional hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location, helpful staff, big cozy room

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was amazing! We could walk everywhere we went. The staff was super helpful. The room was really great- very big room with a couch so I could stay up when my daughter went to bed early. I had read it was noisy outside but both my daughter and I slept through the night without hearing anything- and our room was facing the street! Super happy!

Discoteque in the hotel is rowdy and loud. Firealarm went off in the middel of the night. Not good for business trips. Breakfast was awfully. Can only recommend this hotel if your going to the disco…

Friends vacay

Hotel was amazing. Clean, comfortable, spacious. The room was hot as there is no ac but you can open the window and they also provided a fan. It helped a bit. The night clerk, Erick, was so amazing and friendly. Conor the night medic was also friendly and amazing. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t mind the music from the clubs. It wasn’t unbearable and we had our window open. It actually made us vibe and we went down to the club all 3 nights we were there.

great place but woken up by false fire alarms

it’s a great hotel I love the rooms/ furniture etc but on the occasion the fire alarm went off twice in the night and woke me up both times, it wa son for only seconds so clearly a false alarm but I was awakened and first time couldn’t get back to sleep for ages… so not a restful night at all (and I don’t mind the general party/ nightclub sounds/noise they have that’s fine, the alarm was not)

Yes, it’s noisy, but that was expected. I was able to easily fall asleep with all the loud music, and they provide you earplugs if needed. Hotel staff is very nice, let me check in early and remembered me to let me back in throughout the night crowd. One of the beds was pretty hard and springy but bearable. Did have to check-out by 11am, not 12pm. Overall, the noise isn’t that bad I think people are exaggerating.

Highly recommend!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I asked for Adam and the tall gentleman at reception got one and it was in my room when I got in that evening. Nicole at the reception was so helpful with me booking my train to Cork thati don't think I would have done it without her. Plus she got me a box and tape so I can mail things back home. Showed me where the post was and off I went. She is amazing! I would recommend this hotel. I must say Even with all the clubs it wasn't bad but thank you for the ear plugs!

The rooms are very large including a spacious bathroom. The furniture looks antique and is very impressive. Even had a large 4-poster bed. A night club runs nearby and can make the sleeping difficult to achieve for some. It did not bother me. With the supplied ear plugs, others were able to sleep well. The location is about a twenty minute walk to most places that we wanted to visit (Trinity College - Book of Kells, Temple bar area, Ireland National Museum - archeology). Hop On Hop Off has a stop just on the other side of Stephen's Green, about 10 minute walk away.
