"Loved this unique experience! It did get cold towards the end of our stay, but that's because it was October and we got caught in the rain on a hike. They had tons of blankets and two heaters that helped a lot. If a dryer was available for wet clothes, that would've been outstanding. Also, our hiking guide/bartender, Jeremy, was amazing!! Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again."

"When we arrived at Camp Tinker, we immediately noticed the pleasant and welcoming smell. Everything was very clean and the place was stocked with everything we would need for our stay. In addition to having laundry pods stocked, they also had dishwasher pods, and all the necessary cookware if we chose to cook. The location was very convenient as it was far enough away from the business of the town but also close enough to make it easy to get to town. There was a cute little book that you could share your experiences of what you've done in Bar Harbor, but I did not have a pen on me to write in it. We did so many wonderful things I would have loved to share. I would come back to Camp tinker in a heartbeat! Thank you for the accommodations. "

"I'm the type of person who feels uneasy about leaving anything less than a five-star review, so giving a one-star rating is not something I do lightly. However, in this case, I believe it is fully warranted.I'll stick to the facts and set aside my personal emotions:- This cabin/cottage is part of a two-star motel.- The motel office, which is actively used, is part of the same house you a renting.- Another section of the house includes an entrance to basement that is also actively used during the day by motels employees.- There is a peephole in the door between the office and the bedroom being rented (!)- There is no laundry facility in the property you are renting."
