"This was a very cheap hotel for one night and so you cannot expect very much but it was not great. Staff were very lovely and helpful, but the room smelled odd, the bathroom did not lock and the bathroom was not clean. I have stayed in similar hotels before which were cheap and cheerful but at least clean and maintained. A shame, just needs a bit of TLC "
"Tout était bien expliqué par e-ail pour l'entrée à l'hôtel. La porte d'entrée est très difficile à ouvrir(frotte par-terre). La porte de l'étage aussi difficile à ouvrir et la porte de la sdb grince vraiment fort. Bonne literie. Chambre correcte. Sdb à restaurer. Calme. Hôtel bien situé. "

"Great Hotel with underground parking. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely fresh produce and a good variety. Bar area was very cool with dartboard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distant along the river to town and beach."
"Due to our vehicle breaking down we needed a place to stay while the vehicle was fixed. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful, helping us source a garage, making us feel comfortable and welcome the whole time. We found that local buses are free, so we still had opportunities to explore the area, though we loved the walking too. We would highly recommend this hotel. "

It may just be the area as it was quite loud with traffic.
