The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we travel, but it hasn't dampened our lust for exploring. Here are some tips on how to handle travel's new challenges:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Wear a face mask even during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to temporarily lower your mask to verify your identity.
• Rather than handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, position it directly on the reader yourself. Once that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on luggage. It must be no larger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to remove it from your bag for X-ray screening.
• Place any personal items (like your phone and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray screening. Food items often trigger the alarm. Putting them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to handle and inspect your belongings.

Board a plane now and you'll certainly notice a few changes. For instance, most carriers have introduced social distancing rules and improved hygiene measures. Two good examples are:
