Convenient stay in Mulheim
The location was convenient for travelling between Germany and France. The reception staff were friendly and check in was quick. Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean. The large bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also large.

Great stop at a great price.
We chose this hotel because it was on our long driving route to Venice and it was close to half way. We were pleasantly greeted and so was our dog. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and brought our little girls bed very quickly. The hotel has a nice restaurant with a Biergarten. The beer was delicious and so was the food. I let downside was that the food was a little expensive.

Good overnight stop
Hotel is in an old farm guesthouse. Thoroughly renovated, clean, pleasant and very reasonably priced. The restaurant so so and a bit pricey but immaculate service!

Typical hotel for travellers that only stay overnight to travel further the next day. Bar and restaurant closed at 10pm and not much to do around the hotel

That's why we have a 24-hour snack machine in our hotellobby, which is always availible for our guests if they get hungry or thirsty. Embedded in vineyards Auggen offers in the beautiful landscape of the Markgräflerland the guest a high recreational value. Basel and Freiburg are about 35 km from Auggen. We liked Taste Bären Auggen very much. The room was up to standard, clean and quite. Car could be parked in front of the room, very safe. Dinner was good, portions are big, staff was very friendly. The only thing we missed was airco in the room.

Worth driving out of your way for
Stayed here as a stopover on a road trip through France, Germany and Austria based upon other reviews and so pleased we did. The room was faultless: large, clean, modern and comfortable with great heating (as we stayed at the end of winter). The reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Taste Bären
Is a good on the road hotel, with a newer part and an older part. Offers on internet seem always to end in the old part. The new part, with upgrade (10 €) is in perfect condition and end up in a nice room well equipped. The older art might be a little more silent however.

Lovely Hotel with Good Service
Nice hotel with a pleasant welcome made by the reception staff upon arrival. Room is spacious, nice bathroom, very clean. The restaurant in the main building offers a nice steak menu with pleasant service. Good breakfast buffet. Overall a good experience. Recommended.

Outstanding clean
Outstanding clean, very quiet area, no problem to park, definitive for car travelers. Perfect price-value price!. All rooms in 2017 new building has a balcony, but not all in the old building. Breakfast a little bit pricy.

Staff accommodated our bicycles.
Our room for 3 was a little small for our needs and the restaurant was booked solid for the night we were there. A little cheesey that hotel guests get shut out of the restaurant for outside bookings.

Hotel Baren Auggen, Germany
Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean, beautiful area with easy access to the autobahn. The outdoor beer garden was a pleasant surprise, very pleased with our stay, definitely recommend to others! If there was anything lacking it would be air conditioning, however it cooled off at night and we left our window open, quiet area so noise was not an issue. We would stay here again and you can't beat the value for the price we paid.

Peaceful and comfortable.
Easy to find and free parking. Beautiful cherry orchard views from our balcony, comfortable room with English channels. However, no coffee/tea making facilities and air con could not be used. Staff super friendly and helpful make up for lack of facilities, cheerfully bringing a pot of hot water when asked. Excellent base for discovering the region, especially Badenweiler, 5 km away.

Gewoon super. Het eten, de uitstraling, het ontbijt, het slapen, alles is gewoon goed. Het is vele malen beter dan de hotels aan de snelweg. Dit is nu onze nr1 rustplaats als we weer eens in de buurt zijn.

Dependiendo del tipo de habitacion que reserven, puede ser que la adjudiquen una habotacion en la pension, la tipica "Garni Alemana" todo dicho. Muy limpio e incomodo, tipico garni. Muchas veces me hospede en este hotel por necesidad geografica en mis al viajes al sur, soy miembro Gold y JAMAS me ofrecieron un upgrade. Tipico trato "customer service aleman"...

Leider gibt es im Hotel selbst nur einen Getränkeautomat, der kein Wechselgeld rausgibt. Das angrenzende Restaurant ist allerdings klasse. Die Standard Zimmer sind etwas altbacken und leider hatten wir auch keinen Balkon, das hatte ich wohl überlesen, aber ok. Der Innenhof und der Frühstücksraum sind sehr schick und gemütlich.

Prima hotel
Op de foto zag het hotel eruit als een traditioneel Duits pand. Het hoofdgebouw is dat ook hierin zit een restaurant. Ernaast staat een nieuw hotel gebouw. Prima modern gebouw met fijne kamers. Vriendelijk geprijsd. Ontbijt is prima maar niet uitzonderlijk, wel relatief duur met €14,90… 4 laadpunten voor EV deze staan volgens mij niet op de site vermeld en waren erg handig;-) Overal: prima hotel als je op doorreis bent.

Ok hotel but they missing some service details …
We arrived for one night. The room was Ok but TV did not work . First it appeared that there was no batteries in the TV controller . After asking in reception we got batteries but the TV did not work at all. We reported that when we left in the morning but the reception guy he didn’t give it any attention.
