"Hôtel seems to be in the middle of a major renovation. I’m sure it will be lovely once complete. For now there was construction in the lobby, paper lining the halls, some workers outside my 5th floor window (during the day) and occasional drilling and hammering sounds. Not as grand as the name might suggest. "

"The room was very very small but very clean. There was a small buffet breakfast available at extra cost which had a small range of options available. The checkin and breakfast staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The hotel is directly opposite Lille Flanders station so perfect for those traveling. There are a number of restaurants within a couple of minutes of the hotel. "

"A pretty standard mid market hotel but perfect for 1 or 2 nights in Lille. City centre and the old town within easy walk. The bonus is that is less than a 5 minute walk to the main Eurostar and Lille Europe train station. Very friendly staff on check in. Comfy bed."

"Nice room and clean. However I was charged twice...once at arrival and again at check out, despite my insistence that I had already paid and evidence I showed. They blamed it on Hotels.com (Expedia) so be very careful if you book through here."

"It was clean, quiet and the receptionists friendly, communicative and helpful. The €12 breakfast wasn't as good as we hoped: pancakes and waffles were the cold, store-bought variety, but the fruit salad was good. It was within walking distance of the station (Lille Europe). I would stay here again"

"Great location for stopover when using Lille Europe or Lille Flanders, very easy walk from both. Welcoming, comfortable and the room we had gave a great view of the St Maurice church tower from the bed and the bathroom!"
