"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "My 2nd time staying here. I usually just stay overnight to see my sister in law, who lives very close by. Love the style of the hotel. Very lovely bathroom. Close to the coach station, which we used getting in and out of Coventry to Heathrow Airport. Also very convenient to restaurant and a mall within a few steps. 20 minutes from Coventry station which is very walkable, and convenient to us getting to the Yorkshire."

"Good location but the hotel itself was a bit run down. The bedroom was basic and the tele wouldn’t work. Uncomfortable bed and the pillows like rocks. My bedroom 71 was located directly by an access door to the floor and was noisy up till midnight starting again at 5:00am. Extremely noisy in general with people shouting down corridors in the night. Not a very relaxing experience after a long drive and a busy next day."

"Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were all helpful and friendly particularly Elizabeth on the desk. We upgraded our room to onevinnthe coach house which was quirky and nicely decorated and i really aporeciated the elemis toiletries. Reasonable selection of cold breakfast food and a decent english breakfast. Only drawback is the spa area which is very shabby with many cracked tiles in the steam room and by the pool. There was no hot water in the spa area and changing rooms as the boiler was broken. I chose the hotel partly because i trust macdonald hotels but in this case for the spa! So that was a pity really. I got the impression that they were understaffed that day- it was a Bank Holiday. "
