Functional but amazing value for money, and for the price it was clean and peaceful, we slept well, the staff were friendly and it had everything we needed.
Lovely place in the middle of nowhere.
Good size room.
Only thing was it was 2 singles pushed together, the gal wasn’t comfy so ended up sharing one side.
So it’s ok if you have a partner you don’t want to be near!
Breakfast was nice too.

Old Hall was a beautiful building from the outside, gardens and paths could have been a little more tidy with a bit more TLC. Our room was spacious but dreadfully dirty with Cobwebs on the ceiling, lots of dust on the skirting boards. Pillow case was dreadful with horrible black marks on which was replaced on request but housekeeping should have seen this for sure. Bath / Shower very dated with rusty mechanism for the plug/water system. Protective cover on water pressure tap came off in my hand when adjusting it. Light switch near access door not very secure and obviously a potential risk

Amazing stay at Walton Hall, checkin was fast and easy staff really helpful and professional. Room lovely clean with plenty of space. Free wifi strength good comfy bed could do with more firm pillows thought but that's just my taste. Bar and hotel facilities amazing good selection of beers and wines menu really good and prices reasonable. Lots to do nearby and only 20 mins to the Cotswolds.

We loved our stay at this hotel we didn’t stay in the hall, we stayed in the Coach house which was a massive room and very clean.
We had dinner which was very tasty just could of done with more of it small portions.
We took our dog for a walk around the grounds in the morning and it’s stunning!
One tip if you have a big vehicle make sure you take the Jubilee drive entrance.
Very pleasant stay. Lovely property and staff. Bit of confusion over checkin code but caused purely by generic emails from host. Code given at reception so all very simple.
Only slight negative was the mattress. Could feel springs in places.
Overall a lovely stay at a good price.

A room refresh every three days is not a four star experience and neither is an absence of a lounge for staying guests. Other than that our experience experience was a perfectly adequate three star.

Lovely hotel and grounds. Spotlessly clean, warm and inviting modern double bedroom. Very dog friendly hotel- great! Lovely setting. Polite reception staff. Didn't get to see inside the hall itself, as another event on as New Years Eve. Bar in the main hotel a little quiet at midnight, but that wasn't the hotels fault, just the guests if they had gone to bed!- as there was a DJ. Drinks at a price to be expected in a hotel. Didn't eat as room only for one night, so can't comnent on food. Same with the pool and Spa. Would definitely return, and recommend. Well done to them all for creating a hotel with a different vibe and relaxed feeling.

The accommodation was adequate but not in the advertised listed Walton Hall. It was in a large extension away from the listed building. It had no lounge, room refresh only every three days and the hotel doesn’t operate either the restaurant, bar or spa facilities on site. Not four star. A beautiful location though. Requires major investment and it was galling not to have access to the old Hall which was largely closed due to chimney repairs. WiFi signal weak and often unusable.

Restaurant service was a joke. Reception smelt like an open sewer.
