"PROS * 100m from cable car to ski village * 250m from thermal baths (expensive but wonderful) * Plenty of shops and eateries a few minutes walk CONS * Communication: First issue was accessing the property which led to us waiting outside for an hour. Despite claiming to speak English on the site, the owner only texted us in French and Google translate became a lifeline. He also uses a local man to check you in and out who speaks no English at all. * Had to take own pillow cases, sheet, duvet...

"The apartments are nice but the hotel is located at the junction of two mountain rivers which are very noisy. The internet said that the hotel had 24hr reception but it is only open for limited hours and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The hotel swimming pool was also closed for the first part of our visit. Probably all this was incorporated into the price we paid but the advertising didn't state it."

"The location is great. Carpark was close by and free. But unfortunately they were the only positives. Bed linen and towels were not provided. Despite no mention of this when booking. But most disappointing was the cleanliness."
