"The resort is beautiful and the casita was very well laid out. The only negative about the room was the couch and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. Also, be aware the casitas have several steps going between living room and kitchen; kitchen and bedroom, and then bedroom and bathroom, so be careful of tripping. Also, the web site does state it, but you have to look, during slow season the indoor restaurant is closed, so the only option is the pool bar or driving the golf cart to another location which is going to be as close as 10 minutes or as far as 30."

"Impecable el hotel. La habitacion super limpia y todos los personales muy atentos y serviciales. El restaurante bastante bueno tambien. Lastimosamente nos toco visitarlo en epoca de mucho sargazo. El personal del hotel limpia todo el tiempo e incansablemente la playa lo cual ayuda bastante, pero igualmente en algunos momentos el olor era ligeramente molestoso a pesar de todos los esfuerzos."

"Very nice small hotel in secret beach. Staff are very attentive to guests needs and requests. The property is well kept, very nice sunset views over the water and nice small private beach. A peaceful retreat away from the noisy secret beach places. This is the lagoon side, not the reef, so the water is shallow and you are in a mangrove forest so be prepared to deal with mosquitoes, nothing a good spray can’t fix. Basically the only place in ambergris caye where you can escape the horrendous sargassum pest afflicting this part of the Caribbean."

"They were very helpful and attentive. They helped celebrate my daughter and husband birthday with a decorative room and cake for both of their bday. My family and I had calm relaxed experience here. Staff were really great. I highly recommend going back."

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"This is a very pleasant and well-run outfit. However, we were disappointed by the beach area, which wasn't really a beach but felt more like a concrete slab with a thin kayer of sand spread on top. Sadly, the shore all down Ambergris Caye was choked with a foul smelling algae bloom which made it impossible to swim and ruined the entire island atmosphere. The location is ok if you have wheels, but if you don't it's too far away from the shops, which is a real bother seeing as the hotel doesn't do breakfast."
