"I travel a lot for work and rarely get excited anymore about where I'm staying, it usually just blends together after a while. This place actually changed that for me. Peaceful, private, and the staff went out of their way for every little request without ever making it feel transactional. I basically did nothing but sit on the beach and read for three days straight and it was exactly what I needed after the year I've had. No agenda, no rushing to see everything, just quiet mornings and slow afternoons. Sometimes the best vacation really is doing absolutely nothing, and this was hands down the perfect place to do exactly that."

"Booked this last minute for a girls trip, and the team still managed to pull everything together for us, golf cart delivered, villa prestocked with groceries and drinks, even helped us book a couple excursions within a day of us landing. Villa was clean, plenty spacious for our group, nobody felt cramped which was a real concern going in with that many girls. The staff felt more like friends, we were joking around with them daily. Did the Grand Slam excursion, saw manatees up close, fed tarpons right off the boat, one of the best days any of us has had on a trip like this. Already talking in the group chat about when we're doing this again."

"We were in Belize and decided to spend the last few days of our trip exploring Ambergris Caye, booked this place last minute with my friends and it ended up being one of the best decisions of the whole trip. Location is great, secluded and peaceful, exactly what we needed after being on the go. Definitely recommend getting a golf cart to get around the island, makes everything much easier. Even though it was a short stay we managed to do a bunch, ate at some of the nearby restaurants which were all so good, and snorkeled at Mexico Rocks, an absolute must. There's so much to do here, wish we had more time. We will be back."

"This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came to all of the details. We had a pot of coffee every morning along with freshly baked pastries ( she's talented ) and fruit. It's just enough to get you ready to start your day. She went above and beyond with all of the details ( makeup towels, Turkish towels for the beach, golf cart waiting for us at the resort , recommendations for the best restaurants for local delicious food ) She's also saved my birthday celebration after I almost made a very silly mistake. The goal for the day was to snorkel and see a sea turtle. She made a quick phone call and we were able to get into a company ( and yes I saw the sea turtle 🐢❤️) Watching the stars at night while in bed and waking up gently to the sun each morning was the cherry on top. I'm back home and feel regulated and rested. Thank you Ronna for your hospitality ( from your fellow Canadian)"

"My husband and I wanted a quiet space for our 32nd anniversary. The dock house was perfect. Definitely island living. Simple amenities and great food from Isis. Henry took great care for us. Slept above the Caribbean Sea with windows open. The sea breeze at night and the splash of the water made it easy to fall asleep. The sunrise was beautiful and the stars are spectacular at night. Such a treat to have a company pick us up at the dock house to go snorkeling. You can’t swim off the beach because of the seaweed but the secret beach isn’t too far by golf cart. We will visit again."

"North Beach Retreat is the perfect hidden gem on Ambergris Caye. A modest resort that is ideal for those looking for a quieter and relaxing stay outside of the bustling town of San Pedro. The private beach, starlit sky, and close proximity to neighbouring resorts and restaurants provide the perfect balance of remote and convenience. However, the true heart of North Beach are the property caretakers Yvonne & Norman. They welcome you like family and provide an experience that surpassed my expectation. They pour so much love and care into the resort and do not hesitate to tend to the needs of their guests. Whether it was breakfast in bed, fresh coconut water, or showing you local spots in town, my first solo trip was one I will never forget!"

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"We rented the entire resort. Iz and the entire staff was amazing. His bar, El Norte, was on the property and a lot of fun. The on-site chef is an amazing cook and brought the food to your villa or bar. The onsite excursion guide, David, was top notch. We were very pleased with his service and helpful information. I would recommend this resort if you want a very peaceful environment."

"This was a truly amazing spot. This is like a sanctuary for your body and soul. The hosts, Iz and his wife were terrific. The staff was so attentive and kind. BEST food in the entire country. Stop looking everywhere else, this is the only spot to stay in Belize to ensure you have a perfect trip! Couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect location or experience. Surrounded by beach, ocean and natural environment, tucked away, yet convenient..a little piece of heaven on earth."
