"Have visited Bacalar many times. We have loved QM and i think the water is perfect to step into the lagoon from there as it is not deep. Excellent view and a well maintained garden by the property manager, Juan. Really attractive little property! it is a bit far from the centre, away from the busy parts but you have to walk through hills up and down to get there so if older don’t recommend to walk. "Property listed as 3 bedrooms house but only has two, we had to share bedrooms which did not give the privacy we were looking for, we contacted manager but he claimed not be responsible for the listing and that he would contact the responsible party. A day later he said he wasn’t able to obtain an answer and unable give any sort of credit nor other compensation. We left the property a day earlier than planned at a hotel disappointed to say the least."

When we called VRBO (very difficult from abroad) they said this was a false listing (my daughter had to do this in the states as it was too difficult form afar).
